Deadhart - Murder Among Vampires

A dark vampire mystery from the bestselling author of The Wingman, Burnt and The Veil. Barbara Atkins arrives in the remote Alaskan town of Deadhart to investigate the murder of a high school student, which at first glance looks like a clear vampire attack. They live in a nearby colony, and even though they no longer suck the blood of humans, they have had a strained relationship with the locals ever since the same thing happened here twenty-five years ago. After a snowstorm cuts the town off, the situation threatens to turn into a witch hunt. Barbara forms a team of the few who really want to find the perpetrator. Is this the one from before? A bloodthirsty monster? Or a twisted psychopath? And what's more dangerous?
