Circular Economy and Economics 3
The third publication on the circular economy and economics responds to new developments and impacts of recent years on the issue of the circular economy. The book maps the reactions of industrial enterprises and other business entities to changes in external conditions. These include, first and foremost, energy price shocks, then fundamental problems in global logistics and pressures to shorten and simplify production chains. The publication includes an evaluation of our own research conducted during 2023 and monitoring of the consequences of crises on the business sector.
The pressure to implement a circular economy is increasing not only in the European Union, there is also a strong trend in China and other economically strong areas. This is also reflected in the expanding scope of teaching this topic at universities. This trend is strong worldwide and is also reflected in the Czech environment. The relationship between the circular economy and economic crises is therefore gradually becoming mainstream issues in contemporary economics.
