Chronicle of the Secret Pack

The friendship between a little girl and an animal, set against a backdrop of historical fantasy. A historical fantasy that entertains, subtly educates, and above all, warms the soul. A little girl, who desperately misses her mother, meets an educated rat in her father's antiquarian bookshop and befriends him. Adina Françoise Serafínová is an eleven-year-old girl who terribly misses her mother, who died years ago. Her father is very busy with his antiquarian bookshop, so Adina is on her own most of the time. But she has grown used to it, and besides, her father has taught her what good companions books can be. One day, feeling particularly lonely, she enters her father's book storeroom (which is strictly forbidden!) and meets a new friend. At first, she is surprised that Aleph Rattus is a rat who can read and speak human language (several languages, in fact), but once they both realise they don't have to be afraid of each other, they become friends. Alfréd, as the rat calls himself, finally has someone to tell about how he licked magical ink in the workshop of Johannes Gutenberg himself, and everything that has happened to him since that day in 1455. And Adina has finally found someone who gives her their full attention.
