Cheeky as a monkey

“What a crazy world… Ota is as cheeky as a monkey, Simonka is always humming something and wriggling like an earthworm, Teo pants like a hedgehog when he walks and Mára, who’s as hungry as a wolf and is constantly stuffing his face, must have the stomach of a duck,” Mr Bartoloměj thinks to himself, stroking his walrus moustache.
What does it all mean, and why do people like to compare themselves to animals? You will find out in this book, which contains more than 40 animal comparisons with cheerful verses to make them easier to remember.
