Charles Dickens: The Pickwicks

A radio dramatisation of a humorous novel by one of the greatest English novelists of all time. The Novel Chronicle consists of "surviving minutes" of members of the Pickwick Club Correspondence Society. As all-round correspondents, Dickens sends them on the road and penetrates with them into the most diverse strata of society as an astute observer and master of realistic character portrayal. Unabridged recording of a radio series from the Golden Fund directed by Josef Červinka.
