Chapterhouse: Dune

The desert planet Arrakis, also known as Dune, has been destroyed by an atomic attack from the Honoured Matres. Only one faction of humanity can threaten the power of this fierce matriarchal cult: the Bene Gesserit, armed with the legacy of Dune. Under the leadership of Mother Superior Darwi Odrade, the Bene Gesserit colonise the fertile planet Chapterhouse, persistently transforming it, mile by mile, into a desert. If the Sisterhood succeeds in breeding sandworms, it will control the production of the most important commodity in the entire universe—the spice called melange.
