On the way from the tower
Honza grows up during the era of normalisation in an ordinary, grey town with his mother and father, who is often away from home for work. The boy's upbringing is therefore dominated by his mother, an avid follower of the Jehovah's Witnesses. From a very young age, his perception and understanding of the world are constrained by the strict religious rules of the secretive community and the omnipresent fear of proving himself worthy and surviving Armageddon. \
During his adolescence, he begins to see the connections. He thinks and asks questions. The dogmas of the Organisation, presented by his mother and the brothers, gradually lose their persuasiveness. And with that, the hitherto unshakeable foundations of Honza's life begin to crumble. \
What now? How can he continue to serve God J. without having doctrinal doubts? Should he submit? Or is there salvation outside the Organisation?
He hesitates for a long time. Will he manage to find a way out?
