Carnivorous plants

The publication is intended primarily for beginners who have purchased a carnivorous plant and do not know what to do with it. It will be appreciated by those who grow common houseplants at home and are keen to try something new, but it will also be useful for professional growers. The most commonly cultivated species or the best known species are presented and all the necessary information, suitable habitats, requirements, morphological peculiarities are given. The author, an experienced grower and owner of the largest collection of carnivorous plants in the Czech Republic, recommends the correct cultivation procedures and introduces in words and often in pictures the species that can be grown in our country. On the Czech market, the first edition was highly appreciated for its illustrative, simple and understandable communication of information to growers who do not have professional training. The new edition devotes a separate chapter to areas where plants can be grown and extends the range of cultivars that have been grown in our conditions.
