Break the ice

Icebreaker by A. L. Graziadei is a debut young adult novel about two hockey players competing to be the best—and about the love that catches them by surprise along the way.

Seventeen-year-old Mickey James III is in his first year of university, has five sisters, and is descended from hockey legends. His father and grandfather made their mark in the NHL, so many believe Mickey's spot at the top of the upcoming draft is practically guaranteed.

The only one standing in his way is Jaysen Caulfield, Mickey's rival for the top spot and an unbearable (and unbearably attractive) teammate. When their rivalry turns into something more, Mickey will have to decide what he really wants and what he's willing to risk for it.

This is a story about love, finding family (on and off the ice), and choosing your own path.
