Bookstore and bone dust

Orca Viv is on her first big expedition. Rakem's Ravens are the top of their game, the necromancer Varina is a challenge, and she herself is full of strength and determination to show how to wield a sabre properly. But youth forward doesn't always apply. Especially when you're up against a skeleton force. And so Viv is suddenly stuck in Sherak, a small seaside town where the dog may not be dead, but he's definitely on the chopping block. Rakem and his Ravens left her to heal her badly injured leg and continued on alone to meet their fate. Something terrible for an orc warrior! But then Viv stumbles upon a run-down bookstore run by a rat named Ferna during her wanderings around the neighbourhood. And she recommends a book. To his own surprise, Viv succumbs to reading and decides to make something out of the shop before it collapses. Together with a handful of newfound friends, she'll face dust, discount promotions, elfinly noble adventure romance authors ... and finally, that necromancer Varina. Because sure, you can chop up someone's army of undead, but you don't touch the books. Especially when the book is a grimoire of the blackest magic...
