The body of 13-year-old Adam is discovered in the well of an abandoned farmhouse. In addition, his twin brother Ondra is missing, which has implications not only for their mother, but also for other people who were in contact with the boys. But the tragedy does not end there. Another boy is missing nearby and the story repeats itself.
Captain Filip Bauer of the Liberec Crime Squad comes to terms with his own past trauma and plunges into an investigation, during which he discovers something very dark. A truth that adds a much more horrifying dimension to the crime and reveals more suffering.
