A cold, dreary October on the island of Öland. Joachim did not give in to the superstitions about the island and moved with his family to the farm Ĺluden. Johan Theorin
Johan Theorin was born 3.9. 1963 in Gothenburg. From childhood he spent every summer on the island of Öland, which had a fatal influence on his later literary work. His mother's family, made up mainly of sailors, fishermen and farmers, had lived here for centuries and cared for the island's heritage, mysterious stories and folklore. This almost mystical setting inspired him to write a series of stories in which he masterfully combines the genius loci of Öland with a detective plot. He currently lives in Gothenburg and works as a journalist. Among other reasons, he is often compared to Stieg Larsson. Full description
