Black Storm
She came to solve a murder, but uncovered something that could destroy the world...
Hong Kong is on the brink of collapse. The Umbrella Revolution is raging in the streets, the People's Republic of China is strengthening its armed presence on the border, and on the horizon, clouds are gathering, heralding a black storm – a meteorological phenomenon more terrifying than the impending invasion.
Inspector Elizabeth Ainsley of the British counter-terrorism department flies into the epicentre of the tension. Her mission is to investigate new leads in a closed murder case and allay fears of a possible bioterrorist attack.
However, she has no idea that her obsession with the truth will lead her to a technology that should never have seen the light of day. A relic of the Cold War that not only threatens the millions of inhabitants of Hong Kong but also transcends the boundaries of current scientific knowledge...
