Biological aspects of psychological development

This publication represents an exceptionally successful synthetic work in the Czech professional field, comprehensively linking the biological foundations of psychological development with their impact on clinical practice. Experts particularly appreciate the authors' ability to integrate findings from genetics, epigenetics, neuroendocrinology, developmental psychology, and psychopathology into a single comprehensible and conceptually coherent framework. A book conceived in this way is still rather an exception in contemporary Czech literature – and it is therefore all the more commendable that it clearly fills a long-standing gap in professional discourse.
