BIM design in ArchiCAD

The textbook describes the creation of a simple family house, including project documentation. For its creation, the authors use both general 3D modelling elements and products from specific suppliers of building components. Everything is described in a form from the very beginning to the sophisticated handling of details. Of course, the basic principles of assembling individual drawings and their printing are also included. Experienced ArchiCAD tutors and trainers will introduce you to the possibilities of designing in 3D using BIM technology. In a hands-on demonstration on a simple object, you will learn step-by-step how to create and modify a spatial model from which you can easily obtain 2D documentation and photorealistic visualizations. The authors leave out no important step in the design process from study to project documentation. The individual steps and procedures are complemented by pictorial illustrations that will ensure that you never get lost in the material described.
