Original Czech detective story
When the director of a government agency ends his life by jumping out of his office window in front of his astonished assistant, it is an indescribable shock to everyone around him. But where others see a simple suicide, Detective Miko Syrový knows about circumstances that put the whole tragedy in a completely different light. The engineer David Raška was an old friend of his. They spent their teenage years together and also viewed the shocking footage on an anonymously delivered flash drive a few days ago. Footage that neither of them would have rather never seen.
But were they the reason for David's death? Miko sets out to find him, but his hands are soon tied by a hit from higher up. And it will happen faster than he expected. Nevertheless, he manages to find out that there were probably more fires that were lit around David Raska at the same time...
The audiobook Between Two Fires is also available on CD.
