Basics of disability assessment

The publication is intended for doctors of the assessment service, attending physicians, in particular adult general practitioners, doctors of preventive care, and, where appropriate, reviewing physicians to become more familiar with the basic principles of assessment of health status and work ability in relation to individual groups of disabilities. It will also contribute to a better understanding of the principles of the International Classification of Functioning Abilities, Disability and Health (ICF), which will be implemented in the Czech Republic from 1 July 2010.
