Embalmer
The third thrilling case for Inspector Francis Sullivan from the author of the bestseller The Tattooist
A freshly mummified body is discovered in Brighton's Natural History Museum. When Egyptian canopic jars containing body parts start appearing along with cryptic messages, Detective Francis Sullivan is certain—this is the work of a serial killer. To make matters worse, Francis's ex-lover, tattoo artist Marni, finds herself in danger, facing a murder charge. The conflicted investigator must battle his own demons and race against time to unmask the crazed embalmer before it's too late.
Reviews:
I must say, what a ride! At the beginning, I was quite bothered that the book doesn't just deal with one case but two, and they intertwine, but that made it all the more fun. The story had both suspense and action and completely draws the reader into the plot. The book is such an easy read that you won't even notice how quickly you fly through it.
