In this action-packed historical fantasy, the author brings to life the heroes of ancient Greek myths. The Trojan prince Podarkes sets out in search of an amber treasure to redeem his hometown from the clutches of the dreaded, cunning Heracles. He and his oars invaded Troy, devastated by plague and earthquake, and took control of the city. It is 1200 BC and the prince finds himself in the basin of the Váh, Nitra and Hron north of the Istrus, today's Danube. Getting the amber carried by the caravan, however, is not easy. Along the way, he is kidnapped by the cruel Hadozubi and it seems that the prince's retinue will be left helpless. Fortunately, native allies, the warrior Asterius, the oracle Titmouse and Prince Falcon, appear and help the prince overcome adversity and fight the fierce Argonauts, whose ship has entered the basin of Istria. The clatter, shrieking and clanking of weapons create the unique atmosphere of Červenák's fantasy, a classic of its genre.
