Annals of the Royal Chamber II.

Three detective stories from the Czech Renaissance. The royal scribe Jiří Adam of Dobronín, his assistant Petr Korc and his maid Rozárka solve cases that the Prague royal officials do not know how to handle. The story The False Thaler brings the master from Dobronín to a South Bohemian fortress, where he learns of a strange murder. But it won't stay at just one. Silent Tongue is a spy story. In order to investigate a complex web of court intrigue, the lord of Dobronín must travel all the way to Vienna. The third story, Boskovická svodnice, takes place in the environment of the Moravian nobility. Passionate but unfulfilled love ends in murder.
