Annals of the Royal Chamber I

The first volume of this series offers three stories. In the first, entitled The Pilsen Murders, Jiří Adam of Dobronín solves an unusual crime involving the highest officials of the royal city of Pilsen. In the case of the Unburied Knight, he must explain the strange death of a landowner who has declared enmity against his powerful neighbour. The third Case of the Alchemist takes the royal scribe to northern Bohemia, where a mysterious man lives who has supposedly discovered the secret of gold production.
