Angelique: Toulouse wedding

Love in its purest form. Young Angélique travels across the whole of France to enter into an arranged marriage with a man she has never seen, Count de Peyrac. She has no idea of the great love that awaits her. Do you want to experience the true fate of Angélique and Count de Peyrac without the superficial, sugary coating of the film adaptations? Listen to the original stories, woven with detailed and accurate historical facts, and get to know the heroine not as a helpless beauty, but as an intelligent, decisive woman. The young girl travelling in a carriage to the south of France is to become the Countess de Peyrac, wife to a man she has never seen, who is accompanied by a reputation as a mysterious eccentric. Angélique understands that from this moment on she is alone, far from her family and her native Poitou. Her fate is sealed; she will never know love. But to those who love life, life is often merciful. The new palace in Toulouse becomes a symbol of happiness for her, soon accompanied by the laughter of her young son, Florimond. Yet, Angélique does not feel completely carefree. In her childhood, she saved the young king's life and knows that this puts her in grave danger.
