This comprehensive professional publication on anaesthesiology has been compiled by top Czech anaesthesiologists from various institutions. The individual topics and chapters were selected to cover the entire spectrum of anaesthesiology care to the extent appropriate and necessary for obtaining the qualification. It also includes topics that are seemingly peripherally related to the administration of anaesthesia itself, but which supplement and illustrate the complex issues of anaesthesiology care in our context.
The second edition of this unique and successful publication has been updated and revised according to currently available knowledge. 11 completely new chapters have been included, seven chapters have been fundamentally revised and the structure of the book has been adjusted for greater clarity.
