Alena Vostrá: Please, just seriously

In the 1985 comedy Please, Only Seriously, Alena Vostrá explores her much-examined theme of purposelessly playing with life. In 1985, director Jana Bezdíčková directed the play and cast Milena Steinmasslova, Jana Paulová, František Němec, Jaroslava Adamová and Ladislav Mrkvička in the lead roles. As the name of the game suggests, it all starts with a single advert in the personals section looking for a partner for a shy language teacher. Two college girls who consider every day they don't laugh a day wasted, as one of them puts it, answer it out of fun and curiosity. Although they hadn't planned it at all, they end up interfering in Libor's life much more fundamentally than they originally thought. After all, they themselves will be in for many surprises in the following adventure.
