Ahava

The core of the Ahava collection – in Hebrew Ahava (אהֲבָה) simply means Love – was written by Tomáš Tomášek during the Covid epidemic in 2020–2021, and its publication was to follow the book Hládkov, which was created at the same time. While Hládkov draws primarily from memories and evokes the vanished world of the author' s childhood, lived in Prague' s Střešovice in the 1950s and early 1960s, Ahava is a collection that speaks from the present, now, from person to person.
