Age estimation of mouflon game

The publication is based on numerous contemporary sources on age estimation of mouflon game and on scientific and practical knowledge and experience. The book focuses on the evaluation of the exterior and observation of the main features of the different age groups of mouflon game. As a novelty, the author describes and explains the development and changes in the shape of the horn quivers of mouflon during aging. Special attention is paid to the morphology of teeth and changes in teeth at different ages. Space is also devoted to the application of the observed traits in the assessment of mouflon in individual age classes, taking into account the principles of selective shooting and achieving quality breeding results. The book is supplemented by illustrative drawings, colour photographs of both live animals and those documenting changes in the teeth during the aging process. The book is intended primarily for the general hunting public, who will gain a basis for practical assessment of the age of mouflon game.
