Truth has no place in the courtroom. The truth doesn' t matter in court. It only depends on what the prosecution can prove. Lawyer Eddie Flynn used to be a con artist. It turns out that these two worlds are not very different from each other.
Almost a year ago, Eddie swore he would never step into a courtroom again. But now he has no choice. Olek Volchek, the infamous Russian mafia boss operating in New York, has a bomb strapped to Eddie' s back and kidnaps his ten-year-old daughter, Amy. Eddie has only forty-eight hours to defend Volchek and win the murder trial if he wants to save his daughter. He soon begins to suspect that he has become just a piece of a much larger game, even though he does not understand its logic.
There are few people in Eddie' s life he can trust and ask for help. He must use his sharp wit and all his tricks to defend his " client" and get Amy to safety. Can he convince the jury of the impossible with a timer ticking on his back? If he loses this case, he will lose everything.
