Address Hope

Amanda left the city and settled in a lonely house in Auvergne to give space to her grief. She never thought she'd feel so bad. Outside, the sun is shining and the birds are singing, but she hides in the cold darkness of the house so she doesn't have to face life. But when the notes of Mrs Hugues, the previous owner of the house, fall into her hands, she slowly awakens from her painful lethargy and gradually sets about restoring the old abandoned garden. As the seasons change, so does Amanda's life, finding new life force in the clay and opening herself up to new experiences and unique encounters. And every morning... every morning becomes a promise that there will be another one after it.
In this novel of sadness and courage, Mélissa Da Costa forces us to open our eyes and hearts wide. To perceive with all the senses. It is a breathtaking celebration of nature, through which we can find the strength to make peace with life.
