When one of the most important clients of a corrupt New York law firm is arrested for murder, special CIA agent Lester Dell persuades Eddie Flynn to make him confess to the crime and cooperate in exposing the firm's shady practices.
Eddie isn't one to be easily forced into anything, but when Dell informs him that he has an incriminating file on his wife, he knows he has no choice.
However, Eddie is convinced that the accused man is innocent, despite the overwhelming evidence to the contrary.
But the stakes are really high – his wife is in great danger, and not just from the secret services.
