A wave of rage
Police Chief Kate Burkholder investigates a brutal double murder
When Police Chief Kate Burkholder discovers the dismembered body of twenty-one-year-old Samuel Yutzy, a successful local businessman, she is shocked by the perpetrator's brutality. The investigation has barely begun when a second body is found in a ravine several kilometres away, stuffed piece by piece into a barrel. The deceased is identified as twenty-one-year-old Aaron Shetler, Samuel's best friend. What could the two young Amish men have done to deserve such a cruel end? The people around them are silent, and just as Kate begins to fear it's a hopeless case, she learns from a young woman in hiding that Samuel and Aaron had recently befriended some very dangerous individuals…
