A pre-retirement teenager

Hana Vondráčková cares for her mum, who is in the advanced stages of Alzheimer's disease. At home, they call it Ali, and it's the most loyal friend Grandma has ever had. It's stubborn and kind-hearted, capable of being both mean and good-natured, an entertainer and a pain. Life with Ali is like a rollercoaster – experience with it a lot of frustration, pain, and hopelessness, but also humorous and charming situations. This is the book version of a blog originally created as a way to let off steam. After all, every boiler has a safety valve to stop it from exploding. Nominated for the Magnesia Litera 2022 award in the Blog of the Year category.
