A practical guide to the civil service

The publication serves both the general reader and the professional to orientate themselves in the individual phases and institutes of the service relationship from its inception, through its course, to its end, including any judicial follow-up. It is not a legal commentary, but an understandable „ user guide“, including illustrative examples, findings from current application practice, warnings about possible ambiguities and complications, as well as recommendations for solving problems.

The sources include not only the Civil Service Act itself, but also all related laws, implementing regulations, all available documents of the Civil Service Section of the Ministry of the Interior (the Civil Service Gestor) and the authors' own practical experience in various positions in the field.
