A pass to freedom

A historical fresco set against the backdrop of the history of Scotland, England and the New World, whose protagonists are young people on an adventurous journey to freedom... Young Mack has longed for freedom for as long as he can remember; he loves the green hills of Scotland and dreams of a little white house, children and a wife. But he is a miner, and miners belong to the landowner. Lizzie, the daughter of a landowner, used to play with Mack as a child, but the innocence of their childhood games has turned into a deep affection that no one approves of. Their fates intertwine, whether in Scotland, in bustling London, or eventually in distant Virginia. Will they manage to fulfil their dreams of love and freedom, or will they succumb to the hatred and fear of the powerful?
