A Novel from Room 128

Who has never wished for a whiff of romance to enter their life?

When Anne-Lise orders room no. 128 at the Beau Rivage Hotel to spend a short holiday in Brittany, she has no idea how her life will be transformed. He discovers a book manuscript in his bedside table… and the address in it. Like a bottle fished out of the sea, he sends the manuscript to whomever he believes to be its owner. But first, he'll read the story.
It's beautiful and moving. And unfinished.

To her surprise, the author of the manuscript, Sylvester, replies to the message. He surprises her by claiming that he lost the manuscript 33 years ago on a flight from France to Canada. And he hasn't finished it yet.

All Sylvester wants is peace and oblivion, but Anna-Lise, much to his dismay, decides to find out how the manuscript got into her room. Through the letters, she learns about his journey from reader to reader and how he marked each of their lives. And so unfolds before her a story full of amorous feelings and quarrels, friendships, troubled destinies and intimate secrets.

And the more the path of the unfinished manuscript approaches room no. 128, the clearer it is that it has the power to change her life as well…
