A Little Something for the Prime Minister and Other Stories

The pilot, the young manager, the right-wing extremists, the elderly clerk, the unemployed worker or the traveller - all these Czechs are the heroes of these often chilling stories with somewhat more pointed points. The fleshed-out characters will make you sure that they live somewhere - maybe not so far away from you. You can read this colourful, provocative, funny mosaic full of unexpected denouements in one breath. Even though it takes on serious topics. < br> < br> "The stories have many characteristics that make them more than interesting, eagerly read and hard to put down before the last page of the book: believable dialogue, dramatic pace and a surprising punchline.
