A grandfather named Nuel

Miloň Čepelka has written a number of dramatic fairy tales for television (The Golden Necklace, The Rabbit and the Dragon Princess, etc. ) and for radio (Lesní babka, Fešák hastrman, Cesta do Afriky, etc. ), but no book fairy tales until now. He now describes the new film, Grandfather Named Nuel, as a fairy tale-non-fairy tale. In it, he combines his own boyhood experiences and dreams with memories of real historical events in which he was a participant during his wartime childhood. The result is a thrilling tale of once upon a time and now, spiced with mysterious fantasy elements and illustrations by Petr Netík, suitable for boys and girls around the age of ten.
