A few drops of frozen time

Half-elf Thompson has had enough of all these adventures. He lives in Raiggio, a large city on the coast, enjoying comfort and being pampered by his mistress. By chance, he comes across a manuscript that truthfully describes a story that took place in the days when the Borderlands were just beginning to take shape. The plot is like a challenge for Thompson. Like a call of fate. Like a kick in the ass. Although he doesn' t want to, he leaves his comfort and returns to the Borderlands to undertake another expedition to wild Orcigard. In Licario, he takes on the elderly wizard Orichalkian, and together they set out to correct Orichalkian' s ancient mistake.

If it was a mistake.
