China Shou Mee Tea Garden

Shou Mee " Longevity Eyebrows" is a white tea from the Da Bei tea cultivar originating from the Chinese province of Fujian (main production is in the towns of Guanyang, Panxi and Dingtou in Fuding City, Ningde City, Zhenghe County, Jianyang City and Songxi County in Nanping City). It is usually harvested with one bud and three to four leaves. It is similar to Pai Mu Tan tea, but is made from larger leaves. The leaves are green to brownish in colour, silvery downy, slightly curved, resembling eyebrows. The infusion is a deep orange-yellow colour with a typical aroma and taste of white teas - slightly woody to fruity, herbal with a distinct aftertaste.
