A mildly bitter tea with a mountain character
Leaves that capture both the sun and the coolness of mountain nights. Ceylon Uva OPI Dyraaba is a black tea of excellent quality with a light, very aromatic aroma and a slightly bitter taste. The tea leaves have a light, slightly reddish colour and are slightly twisted. It is one of the most popular types of tea. This black Ceylon tea is best enjoyed flavored with lemon or milk. It' s also great with a piece of homemade cake.
Ingredients
Ceylon black tea.
Preparation
Bring the water to a boil (approx. 100 °C) and pour over the tea leaves. Let steep for 3–5 minutes, depending on how strong an aroma you prefer. Then strain the tea and serve.
Recommended dosage
Use 1 teaspoon of loose tea per 150–200 ml of water. When preparing in a multi-cup kettle, you can add 1 extra teaspoon per kettle.
Storage
Store in a dry place at a temperature of up to 25 °C away from direct sunlight. Protect from frost.
