The 45L Simplehuman Slim Step Can has a narrow, space-saving shape that is perfect for tight spaces. The stainless steel liner rim lifts easily for a quick liner change, then closes to hold the liner and keep it neatly out of sight. The steel pedal is designed to withstand more than 150000 steps, which is over 20 steps a day for 20 years. Patented Lid Shox technology controls the motion of the lid for a slow, quiet close. An invisible silver-ion coating resists fingerprints and the spread of germs, without dulling the natural lustre and sheen of the steel (brushed model only).

Code N liners
Custom-fit Code N liners are a perfect fit for the Simplehuman Slim Step Can, so they don't bunch, slip or create an unsightly overhang for a cleaner look. They are also extra-strong and double-seamed, so you can fill the bin to the brim without any rips, leaks or tears. You can also fit an Odorsorb pod under the lid of the bin to help eliminate odours from the waste.
Maintenance:
Clean the stainless steel once a week with a soft cloth, warm water and a mild detergent. Do not use steel wool, stainless steel polish, bleach, salts or acids as they can damage the product. Alternatively, use a microfibre mitt, which uses only water to wash on one side and the dry side to wipe and polish. The stickers should not leave any residue, but if they do, remove it with adhesive removers such as “Goo-Gone”, “Un-du” or “De-solv-it®”. Then rinse the area with water and dry with a soft cloth.
