Simplehuman pedal bin - 45 l, butterfly lid, brushed stainless steel, FPP

With a Simplehuman steel pedal, you can be sure the bin will withstand even very frequent use. It has been designed to handle 150000 presses. That's more than twenty openings a day for 20 years. The base of the bin is also rubberised – for better stability and to protect the bin from moisture. After releasing the pedal, the lid closes slowly and, most importantly, silently on its own. In contrast, opening is very fast thanks to compressed air. The bin lid opens to two sides from the centre. Thanks to the internal hinges, it can, for example, stand right next to a toilet. The inner bucket catches small scraps of waste and makes waste disposal and maintenance easier. It can be quickly removed and, after taking out the rubbish, cleaned or washed directly under running water.

Fingerprint-proof coating

The surface of the bin is treated with a special technology that prevents greasy smudges. This keeps the bin's surface constantly shiny. The non-slip base of the bin is backed with rubber. It is therefore gentle on any surface. Simplehuman produces its own bin liners. They are characterised by high strength and are easy to remove from the bin. The liners that fit this bin perfectly can be found under the letter K (35–45L).
