The Simplehuman Dual bin features two compartments. One is for general waste and the other is for recycling. The compartment for plastic, paper or glass recycling includes a practical plastic bucket with a metal handle. The outer rim of the lid lifts up for easy bag changes, so you don't have to remove the entire top of the bin. When you're done, simply pop the rim back down. The edges of the bag remain neatly hidden and will be held perfectly in place. The bin's surface is treated with a technology that coats it with a fine layer of nano-silver. This protects it from fingerprints and germs. Everyday dirt simply runs off the bin, and if any does stick, it's always easy to clean.

Quiet lid opening and closing
The patented closing mechanism guarantees smooth lid movement and a quiet close. The hinge for opening the lid is designed to open fully without hitting the wall or furniture behind the bin. Just give the lid a gentle push. It will immediately start to close softly and click into place almost silently.
Strong steel pedal
You can open and close the Simplehuman pedal bin all day long as you please. It will have no effect on its lifespan. Its steel pedal has been designed to withstand more than 150000 steps. That's equivalent to twenty steps a day for twenty years.
Custom-fit bin liners
The liner dispenser is located inside the bin and dispenses one liner at a time. You can even change the liner with one hand. Simplehuman produces its own bin liners. They are highly durable and easy to remove from the bin. The liners that fit this bin perfectly are marked with the letter H (30-35L). Replacement Simplehuman liner packs are designed to fit perfectly into the built-in dispenser inside the bin. Liners from other manufacturers will not fit the dispenser.
