Using the Philips AVENT breast pump
Before use, check that the extractor components are not worn or damaged. Replace them if necessary.
Insert size:
The Philips Avent single or double breast pump includes a soft massage pad. It gently stimulates the nipple to get the milk flowing. The insert is made of flexible silicone that fits up to 99.98% of women, nipple size up to 30 mm.
Assembling the breast pump:
Make sure that you have cleaned and disinfected all parts of the breast pump that come into contact with breast milk.
Step 1: Wash your hands properly with soap and water.
Step 2: Insert the white valve into the body of the suction hood.
Step 3: Screw the body of the breast pump onto the bottle.
Step 4: Insert the liner into the body of the breastmilk pump and make sure that the edge fits over the body of the pump. Press the inner part of the liner into the funnel of the counter line.
Step 5: Insert the silicone diaphragm into the body of the breast pump. Press the silicone diaphragm down with your fingers so that it seals perfectly around the edge of the breast pump.
Step 6: A silicone tube and cap are attached to the silicone diaphragm. Push the cap in until it clicks firmly into place.
Step 7: Hoses connected to the motor unit.
Step 8: Connect the adapter to the power socket and the plug at the other end to the motor unit.
Step 9: Now the breast pump is ready for use.
Before you get ready to pump, you can put a cover on the massage pad to keep the breastmilk pump clean.
Milk expressing instructions:
Always switch off the breast pump first to relieve the vacuum before removing the pump body from the breast. If you are unable to express any milk, do not continue pumping for more than five minutes at a time. Try sucking at a different time of day. If pumping becomes very uncomfortable or painful, stop using the pump and consult your doctor. If you regularly pump more than 125 ml in a single use, you can buy and use a 260 ml Philips Avent Natural bottle to prevent overfilling or spillage.
Step 1: Wash your breasts thoroughly with soap and water and make sure that they are clean. Step 2: Put the breast pump kit on. Make sure to fuck the cow in the middle. Step 3. Press the on/off button. The indicator light comes on to indicate that the device is in stimulation mode. Step 4: The pump starts the stimulation mode and slowly increases the pressure to the stimulation intensity level used last time (in case of first use to level 5). Step 5: You can freely change the intensity of the sound using the increase and decrease buttons. Step 6: After 90 seconds, the extractor starts the suction mode and slowly increases the vacuum to the suction intensity level used last time (in the case of first use to level 11). Step 7: If you want to switch from suction mode to stimulation mode, you can switch modes using the mode selector button. Step 8: To stop the extractor, shortpress the buttonswitches. To continue, press the switch button once more. Step 9: Press and hold the switch to switch the device off.
