2 types of Philips AVENT nipple protectors
The small Philips AVENT nipple protectors are designed for nipples with a diameter of 12mm and the medium ones for up to 21mm. If you want to find out your size, place one of the perforated rings on your nipple. Then turn the protector clockwise and guide the nipple into the opening. Then stretch the base of the protector around the areola. If there is 2mm of space between the nipple and the silicone, the protector fits correctly.
Easy and hygienic cleaning
Philips AVENT protectors should be cleaned after each use. To make cleaning easier, simply place the protectors in the hygienic case or in boiling water for 5 minutes. If you are placing the protectors in the case, add 25ml of water. Then place in the microwave for 3 minutes at 750–1,000W. Let them cool for five minutes, drain the water and they will be ready to use.
