A strong black tea for lovers of unusual taste experiences, with a characteristically strong smoky flavour and aroma. Like many of today's popular specialities, this tea was created by accident during the Qing dynasty. When an army passed through, the tea drying process was delayed. To meet demand, sellers sped up the drying of the tea leaves over a pine wood fire. Customers loved the tea so much that it became a sought-after speciality.

Preparation
Use 2 teaspoons of tea for 0.5L of water. Pour over 100°C water and infuse for 5–8 minutes (depending on the desired strength of the brew).
