Pears are rich in important minerals such as potassium, magnesium, iron, and contain more vitamins and minerals than apples. Pears are a typical temperate crop, low in vitamin C but high in minerals. Very good thirst quencher, have anti-inflammatory effects and are rich in insoluble fibre. Their consumption supports kidney function and they are easily digestible.
