It is the dried, cut bud of Saxifraga granulata L. ). The name itself comes from the Latin saxum = rock and frango = to break, the Czech name from traditional healing that can break "stones" in the body.

Ingredients

Preparation
Infusion (leaves, shoots, flowers): Pour 2 teaspoons over ¼ l boiling water, leave in a covered container for 10 min. stand and strain. Decoction (roots, fruits, seeds): 1-2 teaspoons in ¼ l cold water, bring to a boil, 1 min. boil, let stand in a covered container for 15 minutes and strain. Always prepare fresh 2-3 times a day.
