Active substances:
Ceramides are waxy lipids that can be found naturally in hair and skin. They are part of the cell membrane complex (CMC), which holds hair cells together and is located between the inner hair cell and the cuticle layers. CMC strengthens the hair structure, including the cuticle. When hair is damaged, it loses some of these lipids, including ceramides, and the hair becomes more brittle.
