Rock rose
The rock rose is an aromatically scented, wild rose, growing up to one meter tall. You would find the rock rose especially in the Mediterranean region. If you haven' t tried an infusion of this plant yet, don' t hesitate to make a delicious tea.
Ingredients
dried rock rose (Cistus Incanus). Top quality – contains only leaves, chopped into 3-4mm pieces (without stems and pedicels)!
Preparation
Pour 1 to 2 teaspoons of tea into a mug (250 ml).
Pour boiling water (100 ºC).
Let steep for 5 to 10 minutes. Keep in mind that the longer you steep the tea, the more bitter your drink will be. The rule also applies that the shorter you steep the tea, the lower its effects.
You can add sweetener, honey, lemon, etc. to taste.
