The LONG WPL28-12TN lead-acid battery serves as a power source for a wide range of applications. This maintenance-free VRLA AGM battery operates at a voltage of 12V and offers a capacity of 28Ah. Thanks to AGM technology, where the electrolyte is absorbed in fibreglass, you can operate it in any position without the risk of leakage. The battery is designed for a long service life, reaching 10 to 12 years in Standby mode. It is primarily used in uninterruptible power supplies and security systems.

VRLA AGM technology and long service life

The LONG WPL28-12TN battery uses VRLA and AGM technologies. It is a Valve Regulated Lead-Acid battery (VRLA) with an AGM design. This acronym indicates that the electrolyte is absorbed in a non-woven fibreglass mat. The battery is therefore completely sealed, maintenance-free and protected against leakage, so you can install it in any position. The entire system is designed for long-term use with a projected service life of 10 to 12 years in “Standby” mode according to the Eurobat standard.

Battery parameters and connection

This model operates at a nominal voltage of 12V and has a capacity of 28Ah. Inside are six separate cells. An M5 screw-type connector is used to connect to your device. The battery weighs 9.18kg. These specifications make it suitable for systems with high power demands.

Wide range of uses

The LONG WPL28-12TN battery is designed for a wide range of applications. It is most commonly used in uninterruptible power supplies and security systems (UPS, IAS, FAS). It is also found in telecommunications equipment, photovoltaic systems and medical technology. Outside of its main uses, you can use it to power children's electric ride-on toys, fish finders, sonars or various pumps. The battery also serves as a direct replacement for many older battery types.

When installing, allow for a dimensional tolerance of +2/-1mm for each dimension.
